Big Brother Mzansi is back to keep you company! And to celebrate the return of Big Brother Mzansi’s hottest season yet, we’ve made some enhancements to allow our customers to influence the game like never before.
In our latest release, DStv Rewards customers will have the opportunity to vote via the app’s Rewards section and receive bonus votes each round to take their favourite Big Brother Mzansi housemate to the top.

We listened to your feedback and in this latest app release, we’ve chased out some ghouls and gotten rid of some gremlins. We’ve also expanded our DStv Insurance offering to include Debt Waiver. A policy allowing you to cover your outstanding DStv hardware and installation payment plan debt in the unfortunate event of your passing.
As always you can manage your Insurance policies, your DStv account, your viewing, join & claim Rewards, and pay safely and securely using the MyDStv App.

Like our Idols SA contestants, we’ve been working hard to earn your votes with the latest updates to the MyDStv app.
We've continued to add some exciting enhancements to bring you even more from DStv.
Our Insurance offering has also been expanded to include R50K Funeral cover, as well as 24-month options for our Subscription Waiver policy.
We’ve also made some improvements to Rewards, Communication Preferences and our in-app gaming experiences.

In our latest release, we are introducing a range of insurance options for you to take up and manage.
In the event of your or a loved one’s passing, our Family Funeral Policy will pay-out to help with funeral arrangements.
And with our Subscription Waiver, in the event of your passing, we will cover a 12 month DStv subscription to a beneficiary of your choice.
We’ve also taken care of some bugs that snuck their way in after our last release.

In our latest release, we are giving you the ability to get and manage a range of insurance options to suit your needs from DStv.
Receive a cash pay-out in the unfortunate event of your loved ones’ passing to help you with the family funeral arrangements with our Family Funeral Policy.
And with our Subscription Waiver, in the unfortunate event of your death, we will pay for your beneficiary’s DStv subscription for 12 months.

Thanks to your feedback, we picked up a few bugs in the app that didn’t get the memo that entries for Love Island SA are closed. They were just not the right match for our app and we had to dump them. (In other words, just a few generic bug fixes)

You asked and we listened!
We’ve optimised Holiday Home viewing so that switching it on is hassle-free. And we’ve made the date picker for disconnection a lot less stubborn.
You’ll be happy to see real dates again instead of “Na/Na/Na” in your Transaction History, unless you loved the Batman intro from the ’60s.
We want you around for longer, so now you don’t have to log back into the app every 48 hours.
And, thanks to our (Ex)Terminator, it’s “Hasta la vista, baby!” to every bug in sight.

We heard your feedback about logins and registrations and have optimised them so you can get to the good stuff faster with fewer glitches in the way.
You can now manage your products by DStv package and not by decoder, so you can always find them in a snap.
You can now also cancel your decoder insurance instantly with the app.
We’ve added a friendly note reminding you to be patient when requesting a quote. The ring of death will go away and you will receive your quote, we promise :)
